(WMC-TV) - Fitness fans have a new exercise option in Oxford, according to The Daily Mississippian.
But Ice Core Fitness isn't just a new gym. It's also brought a new way to get fit to the town, an exercise technique called "gyrotonics."
Here's how The DM describes the exercise, sometimes referred to as "yoga for dancers":
The gym focuses on gyrotonics, an exercise that focuses on strengthening the core, as well as elongating the body.
It’s not a one motion exercise, like running or jogging. With machines designed specifically for the exercise, your muscles move in a way they have never moved before.
