Ole Miss grad festival’s featured artist | Events

(WMC-TV) – An artist with ties to Oxford will be the star of a Mississippi street festival in August.

Stacy Greer Underwood, an Ole Miss graduate, will be the featured piece of art for the 2012 Bright Nights, Belhaven Lights festival on August 11.

The painting, which will be on the auction block during the festival, will be featured on the party’s posters and T-shirts.

All of the money from the painting’s sale will be donated to the Greater Belhaven Neighborhood Foundation.

The Bright Nights, Belhaven Lights festival will start at 5:30 p.m. and wrap up at 9:30 p.m.
